Locking Mailbox Inserts

Some homeowners have had success in securing their mail from low level thieves via a locking mailbox insert. There are many brands and options available online or at hardware stores. Special Lite and Amazon carry products that will fit some mailboxes and is not visible from the exterior. Please be sure to measure your mailbox and compare it to the dimensions of any product before purchase.
Features of the Special Lite mailbox insert include:
- Locking insert installs with screws, firmly attaches to the bottom of the mailbox, and cannot be removed without the key.
